I am really looking forward to Dfest! I love live music (and I am from Oklahoma) so it's hard to believe that I had never heard about it until this year. I guess it's better late than never! Oklahoma is a great place for music and we have much more talent here than most of the world will ever know! I am really excited about this event and hope that it will provide some of our brothers and sisters with an opportunity to bless others with the gift of their music!
I love music. It has been my therapy, my best friend, my family, you name it. My favorite band is Tripping Daisy followed by The Polyphonic Spree (which is Tripping Daisy minus Wes and plus about 22 people). Second on the list would be Ween. Ween does it all. Name any style of music and they have a song that fits it. I like diversity and lyrics are important to me so that is why I love Ween so much. I listen to a wide variety of music and my favorite thing to do is go to live shows.
My favorite movies are the kind that make you really stop and think. The best movie that I have seen recently is Synecdoche, New York.
I love to read, but I am working on my Master's degree and so I always feel guilty if I read anything besides school stuff. One of my favorite authors is C. S. Lewis.
People of Interest:
I love people. I have very few close friends, but I have a whole lot of acquaintances and I always like socializing and meeting new people.
